Prototype Engineer (m/f/d) - (Full Time)
We’re looking for someone with a strong problem-solving mindset and a versatile background in Prototyping. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated team player with strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Drive the development of one new concept or prototype, including testing, refining, and iterating rapidly.
- Create and break prototypes to ensure robustness and functionality.
- Design and develop structural components, manufacturing tools, and electronics.
- Build and test prototypes, supporting small-series production.
- Conduct real-world testing with customers, gathering feedback and evaluating the performance.
- Collaborate effectively with local and global partner teams to ensure project alignment and efficiency.
- Play an active role in shaping the engineering process chain for next-generation products.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work from our offices in Munich, Germany.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or relevant fields.
- Strong understanding of prototyping, system validation, and debugging methodologies.
- Extensive hands-on experience in modeling and rapid prototyping
- Passion for batteries and cutting-edge energy storage technology
- Advanced skills in CAD software (CATIA V5 preferred)
- Experience with PCB design
- Solid understanding of Embedded Code, including the ability to customize firmware for prototype functionality
- A strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering innovative solutions
- Very good battery and battery safety knowledge
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
- German language skills are welcome.
